Barbara Christenson

I am a licensed professional counselor currently specializing in helping people navigate the journey through grief and loss with the complex emotions involved in that process. My experiences as a school counselor and as a therapist have provided me with many years of dealing with loss in families. My own journey through many grief experiences combined with my studies have given me the tools to help others through that experience. I define grief and loss as encompassing more than the death of a loved one. Losses and the ensuing grief can extend to many types of losses, such as divorce, loss of a home, loss, of a job, loss of a relationship, etc. I'm interested in hearing your story and helping you find the best way for you to cope with your loss.
