About Jennifer Groom-Reid
You may be the person everyone depends on—the strong one, the responsible one, the one who keeps going even when you're exhausted. But sometimes, you need someone to talk to, too.
Maybe life doesn't feel quite like it used to. Your relationship is changing, family feels overwhelming, work is draining you, or you're entering a new stage of life and wondering, What about me? What do I want now? You may not even be sure you need therapy—you just know that carrying everything by yourself is getting harder.
That's where we can start.
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship and family challenges, grief, trauma, stress, and major life transitions. I have a special interest in supporting women navigating separation or divorce, changing family roles, self-worth, burnout, boundaries, and the transitions that often come with midlife.
Talking to someone doesn't mean something is wrong with you, and you don't have to know exactly what you want from therapy before you begin. Sometimes it simply starts with having a safe, comfortable place to talk honestly about what's happening in your life.
My approach is warm, practical, culturally responsive, and without judgment. We'll work together to understand what's weighing on you, recognize patterns that may no longer be serving you, and find realistic ways to move forward.
You spend a lot of time showing up for everyone else.
It's okay to have a space that's just for you.
