About Latisha Mcmurray

Hello, I’m Latisha McMurray, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience helping adults navigate anxiety, depression, grief, relationship concerns, work-related stress, low self-esteem, major life transitions, and other emotional challenges. I earned a master’s degree in social work and am licensed to practice in Texas and Oklahoma. Throughout my career, I have supported individuals from diverse backgrounds as they work through difficult experiences, develop healthier coping skills, and create meaningful changes in their lives. My treatment approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each person’s unique needs. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), strengths-based therapy, solution-focused techniques, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can speak openly, gain insight, and identify practical steps toward your goals. Therapy is not about telling you what to do. It is about helping you better understand yourself, recognize patterns that may be holding you back, build on your strengths, and develop tools that support lasting growth. Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, grieving a loss, struggling in your relationships, experiencing a major transition, or simply feeling ready for something to change, you do not have to work through it alone. Reaching out for support takes courage. I would be honored to walk alongside you as you work toward greater peace, confidence, healing, and emotional well-being.
