About Michael Shupp

Seeking therapy can feel like a big step, and finding the right therapist is an important part of the process. I provide a supportive, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where you can explore life's challenges and work toward meaningful change. I earned my Master's degree in Counseling from West Texas A&M University in 1992 and have been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 1996. Early in my career, I worked with couples, and individuals in a variety of clinical settings. I primarily work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, loneliness, and relationship challenges. In addition to my clinical work, I have spent many years in healthcare leadership, giving me firsthand insight into the pressures of demanding careers, major life transitions, and balancing personal and professional responsibilities. I understand how these challenges can affect emotional well-being and relationships. My approach is collaborative, practical, and tailored to your unique needs. Together, we'll identify your strengths, develop effective coping strategies, and create a plan that helps you move toward the life you want. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply looking for greater balance and fulfillment, I'm here to support you every step of the way.
