Myisha Jones is a dedicated Social Worker who has over ten years of experience serving children and families in varied mental health settings. Myisha specializes in treating depression as it relates to imposter syndrome, anxiety as it perfectionism, and providing trauma-informed mental health care for the children and the creative community. She is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy(DBT), trauma informed modalities, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness practices, and other creative/expressive therapies. Even though my primary training is in Cognitive Behavioral Theory (CBT), I also have training in Dialectical Behavior Theory (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, and creative/expressive therapies. Ultimately, I wish to create a safe space using creative, colorful, and unique therapies to promote mental wellness where one can explore their thoughts, feelings, and actions and achieve their mental wellness goals.
