About Yetiva Prather
I'm a therapist with extensive experience supporting individuals through a wide range of life challenges. My work centers on helping clients navigate depression, anxiety, trauma, and the complex emotions that often accompany major life transitions.
I specialize in addressing concerns like self-esteem, communication difficulties, isolation, and grief. I'm particularly skilled in working with trauma-related issues, including post-traumatic stress, sexual assault, and abuse recovery. I also support clients facing relationship challenges, attachment concerns, abandonment, and forgiveness work.
Beyond these core areas, I bring expertise to many other important topics: life purpose and meaning, body image, financial stress, workplace issues, caregiver burnout, mood disorders, panic and anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive patterns, phobias, and social anxiety. I work with clients navigating major life events—divorce, pregnancy, postpartum transitions, midlife changes, and chronic illness—as well as those exploring sexuality, gender identity, and multicultural concerns.
My approach is grounded in compassion and collaboration. I believe in meeting you where you are and working together at a pace that feels right for you. I'm honored to support you on your healing journey.
