I am a professional counselor licensed in Texas with over 7 years of experience providing therapeutic services. I work with clients who experience a wide range of symptoms and concerns, including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, divorce, and life adjustment. I particularly have experience working with mothers and women who have experienced complex trauma and emotional abuse that affects their ability to enjoy life and sustain positive relationships. My therapy style is collaborative. I believe every person can effect positive change and is the expert on their experiences. I take my clients seriously. I believe every client can find their own ability to strengthen themselves when the right intervention techniques are applied. My approach combines cognitive processing, narrative-solution-focused, psychodynamic, and rational-emotive therapy.
